Boathouse Cottage stands on its own by the banks of the River Tweed. At the end of a quiet country lane, it is about half a mile from the centre of Norham village. Located between Berwick-upon-Tweed and Coldstream on the Scottish border it is an ideal holiday cottage for exploring the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland.
It has its own garden and commands superb views to and across the river as well as up and downstream. Behind the cottage is a bank with mature woodland. Visitors stand a good chance of seeing a wide range of wildlife during their visit.
Extensively improved, extended and fully modernised in 1999 the cottage has an English Tourism Council four star rating. This excellent self-catering accommodation includes entrance porch giving access to a new and spacious kitchen/dining area.
