In 2016 the ground floor was rebuilt.

The Lower Hallway and Living Room have new floors and walls. The floors have a stone effect tile covering. The Downstairs Twin Bedroom was extended and it, together with the Shower Room, has a ceramic tiled floor. The Entrance Porch and Kitchen Areas also have attractive tile floors

Entrance, Modern Spacious Kitchen & Dining Area

You enter Boathouse Cottage up a gentle ramp to the Front Door into an enclosed Entrance Porch leading thhrough to a modern spacious Kitchen and Dining area, floored throughout with Italian style ceramic tiles. The Kitchen is comprehensively equipped. The dining area has matching settings for six persons but is large enough to seat 8 to 10 persons with additional settings provided.

Sitting Room & Downstairs Bed & Bathroom

The lower ground floor is entered down two easy steps to an Inner Hall leading to the Living Room, one Twin Bedroom, and a Shower Room with wash hand basin and loo.

The Living Room has stunning views both up and down the river. With a Multifuel Woodburning Stove and comfortable seating, this is a warm and cosy place where you can relax after an active day.

Downstairs Twin Bedroom has a small extension providing a walk-in wardrobe or dressing room. Furnished with twin zip-and-link Hypnos beds there is floor space for an additional “crash bed” if required.

The Shower Room has attractive tiled walls, a shower, loo and wash hand basin. It also has under-floor heating.

Upstairs Bedrooms & Bathroom

An open-work staircase leads to the upper floor with one double bedroom (with king-size Hypnos double bed and an extra single bed), one twin room and a bathroom.

Over both floors there is sleeping accommodation for seven. All windows are double glazed and there is central heating throughout the house.

All rooms have views to the front looking to the River Tweed and beyond.
