Let’s face it, there is so much to do in and around Norham that we cannot list it all here. Many people come back to us again, and again, that pretty well says it all.
Salmon fishing on Ladykirk and many other local salmon beats can be arranged through any of the following:-
FishTweed or Sale & Partners. Trout fishing is managed by Ladykirk and Norham Angling Association and tickets are available in the village shops and the two pubs. Other river, loch and sea fishing is available in the area.
The cottage has easy access to a number of waymarked quiet country walks and footpaths along the Tweed and into surrounding countryside. Enjoy seeing the local wildlife. Tweed defines the Border here so you can walk in England or Scotland.
If you’re bringing bicycles why not try the Tweed Cycle way which you can join across Norham Bridge.
Norham itself has a rich border history, with an historic church the village is dominated by the ruins of Norham Castle. There are two pubs, a village shop and newsagent and an excellent butcher you’ll find most things you need in the village during your stay.
If you want to enjoy a special meal locally you can visit the Wheatsheaf Restaurant in Swinton. It has won a number of awards for its excellent food and hospitality.

For B& B accomodation further north we recommend Moville in Pitlochry or self catering at Taronga on Loch Tay.
