The proprietors shall not be liable for any further compensation beyond a full refund of the rents paid.
Before taking occupancy of the Cottage guests are required to pay a “Good Housekeeping and Security” deposit of £100 as security for the keys and against the cost of any breakages, damages, loss or additional cleaning costs. The security deposit is payable at the same time as the final installation or balance of rent payable. The owners retain the right to make additional charges should extra cleaning be required inside the Cottage before it can be re-occupied. The security deposit is normally returned in full following the holiday let or break, provided there are no additional charges for breakages, loss, damages, or extra cleaning and other expenses to pay. The keys will not be available until the Security Deposit has been paid. The Owners acknowledge that normal wear and tear takes place and no charge will be made for such. If any equipment is damaged, or appears to be damaged, or is missing, please report this immediately.
